POR QUÉ NOSOTROS NO? QUEEN SOFIA AWARDS
The grassroots movement POR QUÉ NOSOTROS NO – Civil Action for a Smoke-Free Law has been awarded one of the Queen Sofia Awards for the Prevention of Drug Addiction. This initiative brought about by the National Committee for the Prevention of Tobacco Addiction got more than 260 associations to support the movement, along with more than 2 million individuals through the webpage www.porquenosotrosno.org. The judges unanimously valued “the communication and social marketing strategy carried out by this initiative through the internet, social networks, flashmobs, etc.”
It’s a big achievement for Public Health. The core group of PORQUE NOSOTROS NO is proud about this recognition that, without a doubt, will reinforce compliance and acceptance for the smoke-free law.
This recognition would not have been possible without the collaboration of people like you, who have helped this initiative in the hopes of a society without smoke.
PORQUE NOSOTROS SÍ! will continue defending the smoke-free law as a huge accomplishment for the public health of everyone.
